Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?

If applied correctly by a professionally trained eyelash technician, no. Make sure you choose the right technician, ask to see photos of their work and certificate to show that they are professionally trained. Look for customer reviews. AVOID SELF TAUGHT LASH TECHNICIANS. The procedure should be pain free and will not damage your natural lashes. If you are experiencing pain ask your eyelash technician to stop. Eyelash extensions are applied 1 mm away from your skin, if failed to do so this may cause discomfort & irritation. You may also need to follow strict after care to avoid infections.


Do I need to have a break from eyelash extensions?

If applied correctly there is no need to have breaks. Our clients don’t need to have breaks. Extensions can help the natural lashes recover from mascara damage if after care is followed. EG: When cleansing off mascara you need to rub and scrub your eyes. You never rub and scrub while wearing extensions. The eyelash extensions will grow out with your natural lashes.


How long does it take?

A classic full set can take between 60-75 minutes & Russian volume 90-120 minutes. Refills generally take around 45-60 minutes.


How do I prepare for my eyelash extensions procedure?

Please arrive with no eye make-up. Make sure mascara is completely removed. For best results do not wear mascara or eye make up one day prior to appointment. Do not curl or perm lashes. Contact lenses they must be removed before application.


How long do eyelash extensions last?

Each individuals eyelash grow in different cycles. Some will fall out sooner than others. To keep your eyelash extensions looking thick and long, refills are recommended every 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks this is considered a full set. After care routine will play a big factor in your lash retention. A lash cleanser is a must.


Can I still use mascara?

The advantages of eyelash extensions is that you don’t need to wear mascara. However if you feel you would like to wear it, make sure that it is not waterproof. If using mascara it needs to be oil-free and must be thoroughly cleansed at the end of the day. If you need mascara for the bottom lashes we also recommend it to be oil-free and not waterproof.


How do I look after them?

Avoid getting them wet for the first 12 hours to allow the glue to fully bond. Avoid spas & saunas for the first 48 hours. Comb lashes twice a day with your mighty pink wand (given after each appointment). Cleanse twice a day with an oil free cleanser. Use our lash fan to dry your lashes.  Be gentle with your lashes; do not pull the extensions or rub eyes excessively, do not sleep on your face. Be careful with towels. Avoid oil around lashes – OIL IS YOUR ENEMY!
